Update posted on May 31th, 2006 : It's been a while since we visited Phoenixxx Black, and unless she's abandoned her site, I'm sure she must have added some content over the past couple of years. In fact, she has, but hardly very much. In two years, she has added three gang bang, two lesbian, 26 solo and one kinky photo set for a total of 115 photos, which means that she has updated her site as frequently as Mount St. Helen's erupts.
There are now 18 Windows Media videos compared to ten, but at 256 kbps, they are really not that grand. Still, you can download them, and she does do all kinds of freaky action like double vaginals, insertions, lesbian, and she has a real thing for gangbangs. However, PhoenixxxBlaque is really only worth purchasing because of all the bonuses.
The site has the same design, which was never that spectacular in the first place, but the navigation seems to be fairly simple, and now you receive live girl access through the Dirty D's Adult Webring and a total of 20 amateur and reality-type sites instead of seven. Well, the content is what counts in my case, so let's forget about the design skills and lemme check out what Phoenixxx has to offer :-) Exactly as I expected, both pictures and videos are offered to the members of this site.
The picture section contains five types of images : solo, gang bangs, girl-girl, events and fetish. The "solo" part is the biggest one, containing 30 galleries with an average number of 60 pics per gallery. These solo pics are mostly softcore, with some dildo action attached to it. 17 galleries of gang bang pictures, with an average of about 80-100 pics per gallery is available in the gang bangs picture section. The girl-girl part holds 24 galleries, this time there are about 60-100 pics per gallery. The events and fetish part are both containing about 5 small galleries, only about 20 pics per gallery. In total, there are about 80 galleries, which should mean about 5000 pics maximum. That number isn't any high, moreover the pics are in really lousy quality. Check out the samples and you'll see. So as far as the picture section goes, it is really average or even poor.
The video section contains about 10 full scenes, that you can either download or stream directly from the site. They are available either in one piece or in form of shorter clips, so it's up to you to decide. Majority of these vids are gangbangs, the rest is lesbian or dildo action. The quality of these videos is good, much better than in case of pictures. However, I don't think 10 scenes is enough for a paysite. And the fact that some of them are pretty long (up to 30 minutes) doesn't save this site from being a poor one. Some of these videos are also available for sale, in case you feel like spending some extra $$$.
So far pretty average site, don't you think? But there is one thing that might actually make you join this site - free access to 7 more sites owned by the same company, with some of them being really good. I planed to review all these additional sites, but after the 4th of them I simply didn't feel like going on. All these sites are pretty average or even poor (I would rate them between 45-65 points) so no need to spend another week on them. Anyways, I reviewed 4 of them and reading one or two of these reviews will give you a good idea about the rest, because these sites are really similar to each other.
Final Verdict:
Phoenixxx Blaque is a pretty average or even poor site. The picture quality is quite bad, surely not worth 20 bucks. Videos are much better, but only few are available. Updates are only once a week, which is not any good aswell. The only positive about this site is free access to 7 more sites, so in case you like some of them you might want to join. But judging it as a standalone site, it's not worth wasting time with.
