Today, I lowered the rate of Videosz.Com because they started to use DRM protection. Deluxe Pass now remains the only archive of such size that is DRM free. As such, I raised the rate of Deluxe Pass and it is now the highest rated site here on Pornadept. In case you want to download gigabytes of porn movies, Deluxe Pass is now the best option for you. End of Update.

Update - posted on 01/14/2005 : I updated the content numbers, and wanted to add a few words to the review. When I first reviewed this network, more than a year ago, it was the best DVD network on the Net. Later on, the same guys came with another awesome site : Videosz. So that would be two excellent DVD sites to take a look at. However, Deluxe Pass is still almost twice as big as Videosz and it is still the best Adult DVD Network there is. Highly recommended to join - the best site just got better with time. End of Update

Original Review: 5 very know words, "Too good to be true" came into my mind right after I saw the claims posted on the tour pages of Deluxe Pass . Well, I was completely off the wall with that :-). This site really hold's it's promises, read on below. This review is a long one, but I urge you to read it closely so you understand the wonderful concept of this site completely.

When I logged into the members area of Deluxe Pass, I was literally blown away with the massive amount of content that was available for me. How the fuck is that possible, was the first thing that came into my mind! How can this site offer such a huge amount of downloadable content for a price lower than the industry standard? I had to take a closer look to understand that.

Deluxe Pass Network utilizes one very good system that has been used, but unfortunately also misused, by many sites in the past. It used to be called AVS (Age Verification System). The main idea of the concept was to join a huge number of sites into one big members area and provide the potential members with a universal password to all participating sites. Unfortunately many scam artists, like Sexkey and other companies, started to misuse the system by charging the members for memberships they didn't want, which almost ruined this wonderful concept. There was also one drawback with the traditional AVS system : the participating sites had their sites hosted all around the world and this way it was impossible to assure the high standard members demanded. Now it has all changed with the foundation of deluxe pass.

Deluxe Pass used all the positives of an classic AVS system but at the same time they got rid of the negatives. To assure the highest possible quality of participating sites, they host the member sections on their own hosting network, which allows them to control the quality and keep the download speed fast. Each site is hand checked prior to being accepted into the network, so you really don't have to be afraid to reach a low quality site in their portfolio.

So how exactly does this work? It's nothing complicated, read on. Deluxe pass is actually one huge network of independent xxx video and picture sites, hosted on the same network and sharing the same password protection. Try to imagine hundreds of different paysites which all use the same password and username, that's exactly what Deluxe Pass is about. But there is one small difference which makes it even better for the members, every single site has to meet high quality criteria to be accepted into the system, no shitty site will pass their filters.

As of January, 14th, there have been 731 sites available, while more of them are added every week, I can't even imagine how big this network will become in the future. According to their system, over 10,491,906 MB's of high quality videos and thousands of pictures are available to their members, all with one single password. Now this is what I call a bargain deal, considering the price of $29.95 ! And as a special bonus, they now offer a big amount of leased live sex shows, chat rooms and many other extras.

Final Verdict:
Deluxe Pass really is a huge porn network, I can't even say how much I like it. I have been thinking about it for a long time but I just can't think of any negatives. Well, ok, there is one, you have to type in your login information every time you visit a new participating site, plus the extra bonuses (live shows etc...) are a bit hard to find. But are these negatives really big enough to consider?

I personally don't give a damn about them, it takes about 5 minutes to get known with how the system works, and since that moment, it's completely hassle free. If you are looking for a great video site, don't look any further, this is the best one you can find these days. It would deserve a higher rating as the one I gave it, but I have to spare some points for the future, you never know who comes up with a better site in the future :-)

It does this with 3 diferent players, including mplayer2 and BSplayer. I have the newest codecs. It does it even using the divx codec set to decode xvid. The video encodes are definitely screwed. I noticed that they were usually encoded using an old version of nandub. I never did like that program. I've never had this problem before with thousands of videos and movies I've downloaded before from different sources. Like I said before, if they can't re-cap the videos and encode them properly, they shouldn't be selling them.

In some cases, it's enough to launch an older version of media player. If you're on windows, try to hit "start", pick "run" and type in "mplayer2". It should help.

I guess the transcode from divx to xvid a couple years ago was a little too much for these guys. These should be re-capped if they expect to keep charging people for them. Out of about 200 videos I've downloaded, I was only able to keep a handful because of the bad encoding. Lots of dead links to sites that appear to have gone under. And should be removed. No replies from any e-mails sent to "customer support". I don't even think they monitor the e-mail. Don't expect another $30 from me. I'd have asked for a refund, if I thought anyone cared. Mike

And imagine how many more didnt even bother to submit a rate. And how many did complain about the pass not working? 2 or 3? So how big % is that? I agree, the customer support could be doing more, but I understand with such a high number of members it can get hard at times. Deluxe Pass is an excellent resource for downloading porn movies, and an occasional problem with usernames wont force me to lower its rating. So if you were unable to login, ask for a refund and you'll get it. Mistakes happen sometimes, that's simply how it works.

The beauty of Deluxe Pass is in it's size, with so many sites you can simply forget about the poor ones and go straight to the excellent ones. You also mentioned a problem with playing the movies, I had the same problem and all I needed to do is install the new version of the X-Vid codec, as that is the one they use for their videos. There is a handy "help" page available to the members, that will help you setup your media player. And as far as your remark regarding many "much better" sites, well, I'm not aware of any other site that would come even close to DP considering the amount of content you get for a common price.

VideoBox has good video quality, but I wouldnt say its better than on DeluxePass or Videosz. Moreover, Video Box only has wmv format and has much lower amount of DVDs although it's cheaper. I'm sorry, but considering all "to me known" info, Deluxe Pass simply is the best DVD archive out there.

They're using the X-Vid coded, that you need to install in order to play the videos. Install link is on their FAQ page. In your case the trouble comes with Real One player, that one probably "overrided" your settings and attempts to play the movies although it's not capable of doing so. You should do this : From the windows "Start" menu, choose "Run", type in "mplayer2" and hit enter. That should start the original windows media player. Within that player, pick "file" from the menu and then "open". Now locate the file that you have already downloaded and it should work. In case it didnt help, send me an email and I'll help you with it. The problem is your computer settings, deluxe pass is legit. Dont give DP your money, give it to a site that has stable content. To sum it up, if you join DP you are throwing your money away because they dont provide consitent service and their customer support isnt slow, they just dont respond at all. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SITE!!!!
