My Opinion About AdultMovieMax:
Videos rule the adult web lately, and there is no shortage of quality sites offering those to the porn hungry adult surfer. The trend seems to be offering full DVD's to the members, but some of the sites cover more "areas", not just standard DVD productions. AdultMovieMax.Com is one of such sites, they surely have DVD's also, but their collection carries also gonzo style porn and various video scenes from a wide range of producers.
Adult Movie Max is a site laid out by the folks from Gamma Entertainment, who decided to move into the "video" field after releasing a rather big selection of standard paysites, some of which I have reviewed already. Their standard sites were all pretty solid examples of quite good adult works, but this site looks much better. It's design alone is a very good example of quality work and the members area seems to be just as good.
This site is mostly about videos, with a large selection of leased videos and live cams being added as a special bonus. These bonus features make this site different from a lot of movie archives, which usually don't offer such bonuses. One might say that bonuses like this are not needed on a video site, which is true, but who's gonna complain about extra content at no additional price? :-)
Adult Movie Max offers their content in form of "scenes" contrary to the standard DVD layout on most other archives. These scenes are "search-able" using standard criteria such as "genre, model type, fetish or location". You can also list the most popular scenes, newest additions or simply pick a random scene. Whichever method you choose, it's pretty easy to locate a scene that might be of interest to you.
Once you picked "your" scene, it's time to either stream it directly from the web or download it to your computer. Let me point out that this site DOESN'T use DRM protection, which is very good. All scenes are in WMV format, encoded at anywhere between 400 up to 750 Kbit/s. This bitrate variation is caused by the origin of particular scene - scenes from DVDs are encoded at higher bitrate, while some of the scenes were already licensed in web-ready format that is usually using lower bitrate. Whatever the bitrate was, all scenes I watched were in very good quality, certainly good enough for a porn movie. The only thing I didnt like here, was the scenes were all cut into shorter clips and for now there was not an option to download a scene in one file. However, after telling this to the site administrator, I was assured the 1file/1scene feature is going to be added very soon.
AdultMovieMax.Com currently contains almost 1025 scenes. Should we use the standard formula 1DVD=5 scenes, the content amount equals about 205 full DVD's which is certainly not bad for a site that was launched just a short while ago. The update schedule is also very good - 1 new scene daily.
As I mentioned, the site features videos from various sources. You'll find plenty of DVD scenes here, some of them will be familiar to you in case you were member of a DVD site already. Next come scenes licensed from all kinds of porn studios, small or big. This means there is also a lot of actresses to choose from, both famous pornstars and totally unknown females are on offer. AdultMovieMax.Com is certainly a very good movie site, that already boosts a rather large collection of porn videos, despite being a very new site. The movies on offer are all downloadable, without any limits or DRM protection and their quality is also very good.
